Fleurieu Coast Entry Statement/Town Signage

The brief identified Entrance Statements and Town Signage to be installed in towns in the council district, to reflect the characteristics identified, aligning with the local values yet providing consistency across the region.

ES saw this as an opportunity to promote the identity for the Fleurieu Coast through visible elements of the “Made by Nature” brand, through colour, form, and shape encapsulating and conveying symbolic meanings that cannot be imparted through words alone.

Our design approach took into account the environment and community feedback; using a wayfinding strategy which allowed both the local community and visitors to the region to identify with the region and make decisions while navigating unfamiliar spaces, responding to the intuitive signage.
