The Energy for Life Discovery Centre explores various relationships surrounding energy and human conversion of energy in a way that is fun and engaging. Hands on exhibits enables visitors to explore relationships between cause and effect, core principles and their day-to-day applications.
ES undertook the design, fabrication and installation of 6 interactives. Designed for children aged between 8-16, but enjoyed by all visitors, the exhibits allow participants to explore the various forms of energy and include a marble ball race to explore the effects of gravity, how differing cog sizes affect the speed in which they turn; and exploring body energy and the conversion of these energies to electricity. Open outcome learning prompts collaboration between visitors and the exhibition’s communications objectives.
