Situated on the newly developed northern entrance of the Lyell McEwin Hospital, the ‘Release’ public artwork incorporates floating dandelion seeds to express life cycle, connection and renewal; the work seeks to promote healing, personal contemplation and joy, whilst utilizing the philosophies and qualitative outcomes from the Arts in Health field; the scale and relationship provides the public with visual and tactile levels of engagement through form and surface.
