As part of the development of the groundbreaking new correctional facility at Yatala Labour Prison, ES collaborated with First Nation’s artist Allan Sumner to create three integrated external facade artworks for the primary buildings. Each artwork is aligned with the themed building names; Karra (Red Gum), Koortee (Quandong) and Mirnu (Golden Wattle), and is utilised as unique building identification and precinct wayfinding.

ES consulted with artist Allan Sumner to ensure the scale, composition and layout of his artworks were maintained throughout the process of detail design & layout of the artworks. Each artwork was specifically designed to complement the architectural forms of the buildings.
